Nursery – Butterfly

Login to Tapestry

Welcome to Butterfly Class!

Our Early Years setting is a vibrant, playful, and nurturing environment where children thrive. We offer a wide range of engaging indoor and outdoor activities, including painting, playdough, sand and water play, construction toys, role play, stories and rhymes, singing and dancing, climbing, mark-making, and number and problem-solving activities.

Our dedicated and highly trained staff get to know each child individually, providing personalised learning, development, and care. We carefully observe and assess children's interests and progress within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

We highly value our strong relationships with parents, which are supported through our online learning journal, Tapestry. Tapestry allows us to share observations and celebrate children's learning with you, and you can also contribute your own observations, comments, and photos from home.

Meet your teacher – Miss Daisy Jones

Miss Daisy Jones

Hello, I'm Daisy and I am delighted to be joining the Nursery team this September!

Previously, I have taught in Year 1 and Year 2 at Botley School, where I enjoyed helping children grow in confidence, develop new skills and achieve their goals. I am passionate about creating a happy, nurturing environment where every child feels settled, valued and excited to learn.

One of the things I love most about our school is the strong sense of community and the supportive relationships between children, families and staff. I look forward to getting to know all the children and helping them make a wonderful start to their learning journey.

Outside of school, I enjoy sewing, crafts and being creative. I also love music.

I am very excited to welcome the children to Nursery and can't wait for a fantastic year together!
