Policies
Botley School has a wide range of policies and procedures which govern its safe and compliant operation. These are drawn from guidance and good practice established across the UK and reviewed on a periodic basis by the school.
Some of the policies are statutory policies which every academy school must have available on the website. Some of the policies are not statutory but are policies the school's governing body has adopted.
The policies and policy statements from the Acer Trust are created and agreed by the Trust Executive Group and the Board of Trustees. These are followed by every school within the Acer Trust Academy. These include the Health and Safety policy, the Financial Regulations Manual and Human Resources policies. All these policies can be found by clicking on the link to the Acer Trust Website Policies Page
Botley School policies are agreed and adopted by the Governing Body and are discussed within the Local Governing Board meetings.
This list is not exhaustive, however, with other policies being held by the school.
All of our policies are available in paper form upon request. Please send in your request to office.2569@botley.oxon.sch.uk or ask in the school office.
