In the Spring Term we ran a parent consultation on the opening of a Resource Base for pupils with high level autistic spectrum or communication and interaction needs. 100% of the responses were in favour of the plan, and we have been working with the DfE and the Local Authority to make the plan a reality.
Friday 12th June saw the filming for our new school video which will be coming to the school website in the near future!
Our aim is to transform our playground with a double decker Clamber Castle, so our pupils can create their own adventures every day!
Botley School are currently trialling the use of devices during lessons, and we need the views of our parents and carers to decide whether we will adopt this fully into our classrooms.
Our 14 Eco Warriors enjoyed a trip to the grand opening of the new Alastair Redhouse offices in Old Botley.

On Friday 17th April we held our first ever ‘Heart Day’, raising funds for the Ocean Ward Charity which supports the Children’s Cardiac Unit at Southampton General Hospital. Although the hospital is in Southampton, it also supports families from across Oxfordshire as well and is a cause very close to the hearts of families within the Botley community.
Our new Spring Menus will be available after the Easter break, from Monday 13 April
Interested in a place in our Reception class or Nursery? We have several events planned for you to come visit our Early Years setting and the school.
As part of our commitment of celebrating our diverse school community, we will be having an Eid al Fitr celebration day on Monday 23rd March.
Mrs Reid was recently interviewed regarding Botley School's Enhanced Pathway. She was also featured on BBC Radio Oxford on 25th February!
