Eid Celebration Day - Monday 23rd March
As part of our commitment of celebrating our diverse school community, we will be having an Eid al Fitr celebration day on Monday 23rd March.
Part of the tradition of Eid is that children and families dress in their best clothes, so on the Monday, pupils are allowed to come to school in smart, celebratory own clothes. We will also be having other events during lunchtime including temporary henna tattoos, playground music and trying customary fruit (dates) There is an Eid Celebration opt out form for families who do not wish their child to have a temporary tattoo or try the dates. Please ensure this is completed before Friday 20th March.
If your child will be off to celebrate Eid on either Thursday or Friday of this week (you are entitled to one day's authorised leave if you celebrate Eid), please let us know as soon as you know which day your child will not be in school by completing the Eid absence form.
