The Diary of a Caterpillar

Today, Tuesday 5th May 2020, our caterpillars arrived. They are very small at the moment and we have been told that they might not move much for about 48 hours, 2 days. I guess they had a long journey and are tired.

Over the next few weeks we will keep an eye on them and watch them eat and grow, eat and grow, eat and grow. When they are ready they will create a chrysalis and inside go through the process of metamorphosis or change, finally emerging as a butterfly.

We will upload photos showing how they are changing.

Watch how they grow and change.
