Science week competition

At the end of last term, pupils worked in groups to create their own question for a scientific investigation before planning & carrying out each stage of the investigative process. This was all done as part of Oxfordshire's Big Science Event 2016.
The Key Stage 1 winners were from 1JP who came up with their own individual questions about ice cubes that they wanted to investigate .

The Key Stage 2 winners were from 3/4ZM who had the question "How far does the hoop-flier go depending on the material of the hoop?"

and from 5/6JP who had the question "Which tower of blocks can stand the longest on the earthquake board?"

The two KS2 winning teams are awaiting specialist visiting judges to view their work for a chance to go to the finals at The Earth Trust  in Wittenham on July 5th.
