Welcome to your Maths page. On this page there will be a range of websites and activities for you to have a go at whilst you are at home.
Also remember to keep up to date with your TT Rockstars.
Hello everyone, this week you are looking at Summer Term – Week 5 (w/c 18 May) onwards. All of the videos will still be accessible on the same website. However, as it was last week, the worksheets and answers will only be on our Botley website, for you to download and print. All of the activity sheets are below and should all be labelled. If you are trying one of the other year groups could you please see their maths pages for the corresponding worksheets.
If you have any difficulties accessing the sheets or material for the lessons, please get your parents to email the year 4 team and we will try and respond as quickly as possible. Thank you everyone for keeping up all of the effort and I hope you are doing alright with your home learning during this strange time.
Hope you are enjoying the challenges on Friday, they are good ways to expand your understand of maths. Hope you are also able to show off your certificate for these challenges to your family and friends when you are next able to see them.
This week's learning finishes off with tenths and hundredths then moves to equivalent fractions. Lots of us found this challenging at school so if you are struggling remember that you can watch the video again to get some extra support.
Here are my 2 helpful hints for the week:
Numerator - top number of a fraction.
Denominator - bottom number of a fraction
Hello there, Parents and Carers!
As schools worldwide close for now in response to the current situation, you might be wondering how best to help your child or children with their studies at home.
Always happy to help, the White Rose Maths Team has prepared a series of five maths lessons for each year group from Year 1-8. We will be adding five more each week for the next few weeks. Every lesson comes with a short video showing you clearly and simply how to help your child to complete the activity successfully.
Here is a link to some really deep thinking Maths, have a go if you want to expand your knowledge of Maths.
