Day 1

This week we would like you to have another go at using a variety of conjunctions.

A conjunction is a word, or words, used to connect two sentences together.

The boy was playing at the park. It started to rain.

The boy was playing at the park when it started to rain.

Other examples of conjunctions are 'after', 'because', 'while' and 'as soon as'.

Have a go at finishing the sentences in the activity below.
