Exploring ice
As part of our learning about the Arctic, we have been learning about ice. We found some of our toys frozen in ice. We explored the ice and talked about how it felt. We discussed how the toys got stuck and how ice is made from water. We then explored ways of releasing the ice through melting. We had a great times exploring these different ways (smashing the ice, pouring hot water over the ice, putting it in the oven and microwave)
