Learning in Nursery
In Nursery this term we have been learning the rules and routines of the school day. We have been learning to make friends, share and take turns. Our big focus this term is to 'have a go!' We are learning to become more independent by putting on our own shoes and coats, using the toilet and washing our hands.
This term we have learnt about different celebrations.
Harvest - The children loved having their parents and families join us for the morning and take part in harvest themed activities. Digging pumpkins and exploring the seeds were a particular favourite.
Diwali - The children thoroughly enjoyed manipulating clay to make diva pots.
Bonfire - The children enjoyed creating a large splatter painting and listening to firework sounds.
Remembrance - The children wrote about the people they loved on a poppy. We all sat together for a minutes silence with a candle to think about the people we love.
Stories in Nursery
Each week the children are focusing on a new story to develop language, vocabulary and story telling.

26th November - Peace at last
