IMPs at the John Radcliffe Hospital

The Injury Minimization Programme for Schools (I.M.P.S.)

In early December, we went to the John Radcliffe Hospital where we were taught all about how to stay safe and help others in an emergency. Here are some photos from the day:

Some of the things we learnt about were:

* How to avoid broken bones and what doctors can do to help;

* Cycling safety;

* Electrical safety;

* Water safety;

* CPR using an AED machine; and,

* How to put somebody into the recovery position.

It was really fun and very useful.
